Camille Roman
Camille’s artwork is a contemporary style with a unique, "top-down" and angular view of cities, both real and imagined. Her contemporary figurative paintings invoke feelings of fun and romance. From an early age, she has been enamored with the shapes, lines and colors around her. “I paint with emotion and transfer those feelings to the canvas. My goal is to capture the audience, and bring them into the painting so they can be a living part of it.” With her "view from above" approach, the viewers cannot help but have the feeling of being drawn down into the paintings....thus becoming an integral part of the work. Her figurative works pull the heart strings, and draw one into the subject's story.
Camille has works existing in private collections and business environments across the United States and Puerto Rico. She is currently represented by Merging of the Arts Fine Art Gallery & Studio in Franklin, TN. She continues her mission to teach others the importance of art in their lives whether to transport them to a happy place, or to generate emotions straight from the heart.
