Ok...so as you may have noticed from previous blogs...I love sunrises and sunsets.  I just cannot get over the colors that nature so masterfully paints across the sky, on the water, in a forest....you get the gist.

I always paint from life or a photo that I have taken myself, or get inspiration from photos that my friends or family so graciously let me use for my work.  Speaking of photos from friends...my friends Judy and Laurie gave me some great photos from their vacations, and they have given me permission to use them for inspiration.  Keep an eye out for a couple of new series of paintings I am working on...."Santorini Blues" and "Evening Sunsets of the North Woods".
